retirement income planning concepts that will affect your retirement
success. Topics to be covered
include potential sources of retirement risk, ways to identify your retirement
expenses, and steps to preserving and protecting your retirement
income. This workshop will be offered on

is primarily intended for teachers with significant time in the system, but who
still may have 10 or more years to work before retirement. The presentation will
once again go into detail about disability, survivor, and retirement benefits,
and how they work. Strong emphasis will be placed on the concepts of saving now
for retirement later. We will also cover the range of retirement options: how
they work and the timing to know about making choices. This workshop will be
offered on
Educators
who are 50+ years of age, or who have 25 years or more in the CalSTRS System are
encouraged to sign up for this 90
minute workshop. The presentation will provide detailed
information on the retirement process, including Retirement options, Defined
Benefits Supplement funds, Partial Lump Sum, and Distribution. This workshop
